Task:
I made three remixes for this song. The Widescreen, Animal and Snake Mix. The Widescreen is an ambient mix using guitars and the vocals as the main feature. The Animal Mix is a mixture of Ambience and roaring beats – Hence Animal. The Snake Mix is a hard edge distorted song with a sneaky determined feel – Hence Snake.
Task:
To create a set of blips for the songs from the album Departure by Laserlong. A blip is a short advert without a structured message and where the music act as an audio preview. See more at the Laserlong youtube page.
Task: To make a website for my band Laserlong and then to use consistent designs for other promotional websites like YouTube and MySpace. I made the book like image for the site to give the feeling of something that is crafted and has a history. Together with the hand written styled type on the menu and stamps with Franklin marks it has a more artistic look. The website type is Georgia. The images are contained into Polaroids as it means there is a uniform to each page and there can be different images in the Polaroids.
